Coming from Raycast

Bring your quicklinks and snippets. Keep your scripts.

Import

In Raycast run Export Quicklinks and Export Snippets. In Beam, use the Import from Raycast card in Settings or the welcome screen, and choose both JSON files at once. Raycast encrypts its own database, which is why Beam reads the JSON exports.

Beam imports quicklinks (name or title, URL or link, keyword) and snippets (text, content or snippet). It does not import extensions, notes, settings, hotkeys or clipboard history.

Raycast script command headers work unchanged. See Commands.

Different keys

Beam uses ⌥Space. Turn off Raycast's hotkey first if you want to reuse it.
